The New Steps Personal Development Course  is a free 8-week, part-time personal development programme New Steps can be taken as a stand-alone programme or as an introductory course into our New Futures Employability Programme.

The New Steps Personal Development Programme is available nationally to people parenting alone who are in receipt of a social welfare payment.

The New Steps programme is currently supported through funding received under the Employment & Social Innovation Programme (EaSI) 2014-2020, in partnership with the Department of Social Protection.

We plan to secure further funding that will allow us to offer New Steps to lone parents nationwide. Please keep an eye on our website and social media channels for further updates.
